This is a track is inspired mainly by the Layo & Bushwaka house track “Love Story” from the early 2000s.  Yet, I do not sample that song and this track contains way more additions than the original.  I went to the source material on the samples.  The bassline is from Devo’s “Mongoloid”; the synth is from Brazilian rapper Tati Quebra Barraco’s “Boladona”; Nina Simone’s “Rag & Old Iron” vocal additions accompany Julie McKnight’s glorious vocals from King’s Of Tomorrow’s “Finally”.  I played the piano with the notes from Francis Lai’s “Love Story (Finale)” from the 1970 film Love Story.  Finally I used the Amen sample for the drums … Thank You G.C.
