What’s in a Name?
I received the name PunkAssMarK as a term of endearment from a coworker around the mid-1990s. At least that’s what I’m going with…
Fast forward to 1998 and I started to DJ and decided this name was as good as any. My choice of music is Drum and Bass.
I DJ-ed DnB from 98 until 2004 in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia with a few gigs in DC & Maryland. Subsequently, I stopped buying vinyl in ’04 and started the switch to digital. Now, I play digital, but haven’t sold much of my original records.
Since ’04, I have been moving to different locations due to work (Singapore, Chicago, PDX, SoCal, Boston, etc…); therefore not having much time or staying in a place long enough to DJ anywhere. Nonetheless, I started making mixes again in 2010 and haven’t really stopped.
This site contains my DJ mixes from over the years; with some going back over 20 years ago. The past couple of years I have been make more mixes with and posting on here (almost weekly).
